1S-LSD Pellets 225 mcg (1-(trimethylsilyl)propionyl-lysergic acid diethylamide), nicknamed “Stannum” (Latin for tin, a nod to its silicon-containing structure), is the latest psychedelic lysergamide to enter the market. Like its predecessors (1P, 1cP, 1V, and 1D-LSD), it is a prodrug that the body converts into active LSD-25.
The 225 mcg pellet is specifically dose to provide a full, high-intensity psychedelic experience, compensating for the additional molecular weight of the 1S-attachment.
Potency and Equivalence
In the world of lysergamide analogs, the larger the “pendant” group attached to the molecule, the more raw weight is need to deliver a standard dose of LSD to the brain.
-
Equivalence: A 225 mcg pellet of 1S-LSD is roughly equivalent to 150 mcg of pure LSD-25.
-
Intensity: This is considere a strong dose. While 100 mcg is the “standard” recreational hit, 150 mcg (effective) pushes the user into a space of significant visual distortion and potential ego dissolution.
-
Metabolism: The silicon-based “1S” group is designed to be cleaved off by the body’s enzymes. Early user reports and 2025-2026 data suggest the onset is relatively fast. Often felt within 30 to 60 minutes, which is quicker than the older 1V-LSD (“Valerie”).
- How It Works: 1S-LSD is not directly active on its own. It features a heavy trimethylsilylpropionyl group attached to the N1 position of the lysergamide core. When ingested, metabolic enzymes in the human body clip off this extra molecular chain. Converting the molecule entirely into standard LSD-25.
- Potency Scaling: Because the added trimethylsilyl chain makes the molecule heavier than standard LSD (a higher molar mass of 451.7 g/mol vs 323.4 g/mol), more of the chemical is required to achieve the same effect. A 225 mcg dose of 1S-LSD is roughly equivalent to a strong dose of 150 mcg of pure LSD-25.
- Pellets: Unlike traditional perforated paper sheets (blotters), pellets are tiny, compressed solid tablets (sometimes called microdots). [1]
- Stability: Pellets offer superior structural protection from oxygen and moisture compared to paper, preventing the active compound from degrading as quickly over time.
- Homogeneity: Liquid solutions can sometimes dry unevenly on paper sheets. Compressed pellets generally provide a more uniform distribution of the chemical across the batch.
Intense Psychedelic Effects and Risks of 1S-LSD Pellets
- Sensory and Cognitive Shifts: Triggers vivid visual hallucinations, intense synesthesia (crossing of senses), warped time perception, and deep ego dissolution.
- Duration: The experience is exceptionally long, generally lasting anywhere from 8 to 12 hours.
- Psychological Vulnerability: At this dose level, an unsupportive environment (“set and setting”) can easily trigger severe panic, acute paranoia, overwhelming confusion, or a destabilizing “bad trip”.
- Physiological Stress: Physical side effects include dilated pupils, elevated heart rate (tachycardia), muscle tension, and temporary temperature fluctuations.
